This e-mail is from 1957's Darrell L. Tobias:
Who wants to know if anybody wants to do any (motorcycle) riding during alumni weekend. If so, contact him at: darrelltobias at verizon dot net
Bonnie,
Why don't you ask those people up there who have motorcycle if some of us brought our's up who would ride with us? I know my nephew will ride with me. Would others be interested?
I don't want to drag mine all the way up there and ride by myself.
Would you mind putting out an e-mail to get a response from the West Carrollton-ites? I would get to wear my leather' for the first time in several years!
Toby

STEVEN RIFFLE, '74, DECEASED:
Steve passed away on August 3 and his funeral was on August 7. So it's too late for anyone to attend or view. This was sent to me by 1971's PAMELA K. SHIPLEY, who also sent along a copy of the obituary. I had to read it very carefully, as it came through upsided-down and I guess I don't have the necessary program to upright it. Anyway, he was in hospice care when he died. Pam wrote that he graduated with either the 1974 or 1975 class. As luck would have it, I don't have a copy of either of those Piratans, I'm sorry to say. Normally, I'd just forward the obit, but it came through the e-mail as an attachment and I find that when I do that, I get a slug of them returned to me.
By the way, for those of you who haven't yet done so, PLEASE put my e-mail address in your approved sender list and in your address book, the sooner the better. I'm having AOL problems again and Mike West has been helping me out again (as always), but I don't know how long this can last (before they tag me!-Mike). AOL is the only e-mail company I know, who opts to censor the e-mail of its subscribers. I don't "get" that, but in any case, if anyone on this list is an AOL subscriber (and there are many), then they're keeping your from getting my WC bulletins and I have to have Mike forward to you. They are also doing it with my one-on-one mail to the AOL people. So thank you.
