Bill, is there anything which could be done for Dave, by those of us who live outside the area and outside of Ohio? Subject: Urgent - Blood Donations for Dave Michael

FOP Lodge 44 Membership:

This is an Urgent Request from the Dave Michael Family

There is an emergency need for blood donations for Dave Michael. It does not matter what your blood type is. The Dayton Community Blood Center is located at 349 S. Main Street between Sixth and Franklin Streets. The Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. It takes about 45 minutes time. Please advise the Blood Center that your donation is being made for the FOP in the name of Dave Michael. The Lodge is attempting to arrange for the units of blood to be transeferred/credited from Dayton to Columbus.

Dave was transported from a Dayton hospital yesterday to Columbus' Ohio State University Medical Center where he underwent heart surgery and is now on a heart pump. Dave's condition is critical.

The Retirees Executive Board asks all Lodge members, family and friends to do what they can, as soon as they can.
