IDA JANE TREON GEARY, '60, WRITES ABOUT AN "INTERESTING" ROAD TRIP :We traveled through 15 states. IN IL IA NB CO UT OR WA ID MONT WY ND SD MNWI We saw many national parks and monuments. Gasoline ran between $2.61 in IA and $3.45 in Mont. Highest we paid was $3.25. Average motel bill was $62. One night in all motels, except 3 nights in Spokane Valley, WA. We only planned one night there, but our car was stolen from the motel parking lot. Got it back 2 days later in good shape. All our souvenirs were goneand some winter clothes. They even got into the trunk. The police seemed to think it was drug runners. Other than that we enjoyed the 6000 mile trip. We saw a lot of beautiful country. We may write more of a travel log later.Ida
