09 JULY 2006 WOODY BOWMAN UPDATE:

We should all be so fortunate! That man, who's now 93 1/2 years old, somehow rallied back again, I'm happy to report. He's amazing! By Wednesday, the tubes had all been removed, I'm told, and he was sitting on the side of his bed and chatting with family members. Yes, It is true that anything can happen, that's for sure, given his very advanced age. But I think it's just remarkable that he has been able to do this. What a best-selling book HIS autobiography would make, eh?
