RICHARD LEE "DICKIE" COWDREY, '62: DECEASED, 04 SEP 2007:

Once again, I am the bearer of sad news. The Class of 1962 has lost RICHARD LEE "DICKIE" COWDREY, as can be seen by scrolling down and reading my e-mail from teacher JAMES C. JOHNSON, who also telephoned me.

Several days ago, I also received an e-mail about his illness and I believe It came from 1963's FRANCES JEAN PEFFLY. Is that correct, Fran? Of course, I know we all extend sincerest condolences to the Cowdrey family and to all of his friends.

Bonnie, this was copied from the paper; not sure why they have him as "Nannie Allen Richard" where they mention his loving wife, Sharon; but that is how it is. Also his son's name as "Ricky Kelin" I thought was unusual, but that is how they had it. The paper may have gotten it incorrectly, because we have corrected spelling and grammar in the article. We proof-read it, so it is as it was in the paper. Sorry to be the bearer of this sad news.
